This is a left lumbar scoliosis. The X-ray shows her lumbar curve was 53 degrees in February 2005 but decreased to 45 degrees in April and to 43 degrees in August 2005.
She was originally scheduled for surgery in the summer 2005 but this was canceled due to the improvement from the exercises for scoliosis.I believe that there is still room for further improvent.
After 2 hour lesson
My student really noticed the difference in the alignment of the hip and waist.
After a two hour lesson it is obvious that her right hip is lower than before, indicating that her spine is straighter and more balanced. I am so happy that her muscles have naturally 'memorised' the improved posture.
